Honey tripping

I don't feel like I say much these days
I like how quiet it is
Sometimes I'm still sad thinking about distant sunsets I'm not seeing
I long for someplace else yet my longin for my family roots me in
Broken pieces that it is I imagine I'm somewhere on the coast the sand is cool and soft, inviting after the sting of day
It's loud with the slap of the ocean the tremble and release are crystal clear
We are a rythym we are the sum
Something in the water turns me and I come back into you
The way you make your bed with me in it
The way your foot curls around mine
It's soft like this sand
Also distant now all so different now
